What Is a Direct Support Professional?
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is one of the most important roles in disability support services. As a DSP with Faith Global Healthcare LLC, you are not just a caregiver — you are a supporter of independence, a builder of confidence, and a genuine presence in the daily life of an individual with a disability.
DSPs at Faith Global Healthcare LLC provide in-home support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Virginia. Residential (group home) services and additional service areas are planned pending required approvals.
Day to Day
What You Will Do as a Faith Global Healthcare LLC DSP
- Support individuals with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household routines
- Assist individuals in developing and strengthening life skills aligned with their individual support plan
- Support community participation, outings, appointments, and social activities
- Document services accurately and on time in accordance with Faith Global Healthcare LLC procedures
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, support coordinators, and family members as appropriate
- Uphold the dignity, rights, and privacy of every individual you support
Essential Qualities

- Valid driver's license preferred for community support roles
Experience
Prior Experience
